Our Digital Detox Challenge

As August approaches, the world can seem to be a constant buzz. There is a lot going on as we try to balance work commitments, family life and social engagements. On top of that, there is also a lot digital noise. Our phones, laptops and other gadgets have become an indispensable part of our lives, keeping us connected 24/7. While technology has clearly brought us closer together, sometimes we all need to take a step back, unplug and enjoy the moment.

So, this August, we are sharing our Digital Detox Bingo Challenge. We’ve collated 25 ideas that could help you to unplug and reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

Why Do We Need a Digital Detox?

We are almost always connected and contactable. This means that being able to step away and have a digital detox is more important than ever. Constantly being on and using screens can lead to increased stress and mental ill health and can even reduce our attention span.

Taking time away from technology can help us focus on wellbeing, improve sleep quality, and create better connections with friends and family. Our Digital Detox Bingo Challenge offers an enjoyable way to try some new or different ways to switch off and refocus.

How Does the Digital Detox Bingo Work?

The Digital Detox Bingo is a collection of 25 activities that are designed to help you step away from your technology. It encourages you to experience the world without any distractions. If you can, we suggest printing a copy of the Bingo card so that you aren’t relying on technology to access it.

The goal is to complete as many activities as you can, or want to, in a month. Every time you do an activity, mark it off on the card. As you do more of the activities, you should find that you are feeling more engaged with your surroundings as well as your own emotional and mental wellbeing.

We’d love you to join us this August to rediscover the simple joys of life beyond our screens and technology. By taking part in some of these activities, we hope that you will feel able feel more present and enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

Download our free copy of the Digital Detox Bingo Challenge below. We’d love to hear how you get on.
