Introducing our New Service – Neurodiversity Workplace Needs Assessments

At The Thrive Team, we’re proud to now offer Neurodiversity Workplace Needs Assessments – a practical way for organisations to ensure every employee can perform at their best. With one in seven people thought to be neurodivergent, businesses that provide tailored support not only meet their legal and ethical responsibilities but also unlock the unique strengths of their workforce. A Workplace Needs Assessment helps identify the adjustments, tools, and strategies that can make a real difference for individuals, while creating a more inclusive and productive workplace for everyone.

What Is a Workplace Needs Assessment?

A Workplace Needs Assessment (WPNA) is a supportive, practical process designed to identify reasonable adjustments that help neurodivergent (diagnosed or undiagnosed) employees thrive at work. Whether your team includes people with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, or other neurodivergent conditions, a WPNA ensures everyone has what they need to perform at their best.

How Does It Work?

Pre-Assessment Questionnaire: We start with a confidential questionnaire to focus our time and identify key areas to explore.

Semi-Formal Interview: Our qualified Workplace Needs Assessor will meet (virtually or face to face ) with the employee, their line manager and, where appropriate. They’ll talk through the specific job role, challenges, strengths, and workplace environment.

Tailored Recommendations: After the assessment, you’ll receive a clear, practical report with recommended adjustments, always realistic and designed for your unique workplace.

Follow-Up Support: Need help implementing the recommendations? We are here to guide you.

What Can Be Recommended?

  • Assistive technology and IT solutions.
  • No-cost or low-cost adjustments
  • 1:1 workplace strategy coaching
  • Awareness training for managers and colleagues
  • Environmental tweaks (lighting, noise, flexible hours, etc.)
  • Communication and workflow adaptations.

Who Should Book a Workplace Needs Assessment?

Any employee who is neurodivergent (diagnosed or self-identified) and experiencing challenges at work.

Employers seeking to create a more inclusive, productive, and legally compliant workplace.

Organisations wanting to prevent issues before they escalate – think fewer tribunals, less stress, and a more positive culture.

Why Choose The Thrive Team for your Workplace Needs Assessment?
