SUMMARY:Burnout by Design
DESCRIPTION:How Workplaces Accidentally Create Exhaustion and What Leaders Can Do Differently\nMost organisations don’t set out to create burnout. \nYet workloads creep up. Priorities multiply. Teams adapt. People keep delivering. And over time\, what started as a busy period quietly becomes the way work gets done. \nThis practical\, evidence-informed webinar explores how burnout is often shaped by the way work is designed\, managed and experienced\, not simply by individual resilience. We’ll look at the workplace habits\, leadership behaviours and organisational pressures that can unintentionally create conditions for exhaustion\, and what leaders can do differently. \nIf you’re an HR professional\, people manager\, wellbeing lead or senior leader\, this session will help you spot the warning signs earlier and take practical action before pressure becomes a bigger problem. \nIn this session we’ll explore:\n\nWhat burnout is\, and what it isn’t\nWhy wellbeing initiatives alone don’t solve burnout\nThe workplace conditions most commonly linked to chronic stress and exhaustion\nHow workload\, priorities\, change and culture influence wellbeing\nThe difference between supporting people and redesigning work\nPractical actions leaders can take to create healthier\, more sustainable performance\n\nYou’ll leave with:\n\nA clearer understanding of the organisational factors that contribute to burnout\nA practical framework for identifying pressure points within teams\nQuestions you can use to start better workload and wellbeing conversations\nSimple actions to improve clarity\, capacity\, support and recovery\nOne practical change you can implement immediately\n\nWho should attend?\n\nHR and People Professionals\nPeople Managers\nSenior Leaders\nWellbeing Leads\nOrganisational Development Professionals\nAnyone responsible for creating healthy\, sustainable workplaces\n\nOur approach\nAt The Thrive Team\, we believe wellbeing isn’t just about helping people cope. It’s also about creating workplaces where people can perform sustainably. \nThis webinar is practical\, non-judgemental and focused on workplace realities. There is no expectation to share personal experiences\, and you’ll have different ways to participate\, reflect or simply listen. \nAbout the Host\nAli Grady\, Co-Founder and Director\, The Thrive Team \nAli works with organisations to create psychologically safe\, high-performing workplaces where people can thrive. Her work combines organisational development\, wellbeing and culture to help leaders build teams that are both happy and high-performing. \nIf you’ve ever wondered why hardworking\, capable people can still find themselves exhausted\, disengaged or overwhelmed\, this webinar will help you understand the bigger picture and identify where meaningful change can start. \nRegister now to secure your place.\n\nEvent details: \nDate: 25 November \nTime: 1:00–2:00pm (UK time) \nFormat: Live Zoom webinar with Q&A

SUMMARY:Neuroinclusive Coaching\, Training and Facilitation
DESCRIPTION:Neuroinclusive Coaching\, Training and Facilitation\nA practical one-day course helping coaches\, trainers and facilitators create accessible\, neuroinclusive coaching and learning experiences. \n1 Day Workshop \nMake your coaching\, training and facilitation more accessible\, flexible and effective \nAs coaches\, trainers and facilitators\, we want people to think well\, participate fully and get something genuinely useful from the time they spend with us. \nHowever\, many established approaches to coaching and learning can unintentionally create barriers. Broad questions may feel overwhelming. Rapid group activities may not allow enough processing time. Unclear instructions\, unexpected breakouts or pressure to contribute verbally can make it harder for some people to show what they know\, think or need. \nNeuroinclusive Coaching\, Training and Facilitation is a practical one-day workshop for experienced people-development professionals who want to work more confidently and inclusively with neurodivergent clients\, learners and participants. \nThis is not a specialist neurodiversity coaching qualification. It will not teach you to diagnose\, assess or make assumptions about individuals. \nInstead\, it will help you examine and adapt the professional skills you already use\, enabling you to create coaching conversations and learning environments that offer greater clarity\, choice\, psychological safety and accessibility. \nWhy Does Neuroinclusive Practice Matter?\nNo two people process information\, communicate\, reflect\, learn or participate in exactly the same way. \nA technique that works well for one person may create unnecessary pressure for another. A participant may need longer to process a question\, prefer written instructions\, find an open-ended task difficult to begin\, or contribute more effectively through chat or private reflection than through an immediate verbal response. \nThese differences do not automatically indicate a lack of ability\, motivation or engagement. \nNeuroinclusive practice helps coaches\, trainers and facilitators distinguish between: \n\nwhat is genuinely essential to the learning or coaching outcome\nwhat is simply a familiar way of working\nwhere unnecessary barriers may have been created\nwhat could be made clearer\, more flexible or more accessible\nwhen an individual preference should be explored rather than assumed\n\nThe aim is not to design a different session for every possible neurotype. It is to build greater clarity\, choice and flexibility into everyday professional practice\, then respond thoughtfully to the individual in front of you. \nWho Is This Training For?\nMost neurodiversity training focuses on understanding neurodivergent people. \nThis course focuses on understanding yourself as a coach\, trainer or facilitator\, identifying where your existing methods may unintentionally create barriers\, and developing practical alternatives that increase participation\, accessibility and inclusion. \nThis workshop is designed for people who already have experience of coaching\, training\, facilitation or people development\, including: \n\nexecutive\, leadership and workplace coaches\ninternal coaches\nlearning and development professionals\nworkplace trainers\nfacilitators\norganisational development practitioners\nconsultants\nmentors\nassociate trainers\nHR and People professionals who design or facilitate learning\nanyone responsible for creating and delivering workplace learning experiences\n\nParticipants do not need specialist knowledge of neurodiversity. \nThe workshop assumes a basic understanding of professional practice\, including contracting\, confidentiality\, active listening and management of group learning. \nWhat Will I Learn?\nBy the end of the workshop\, participants will be able to: \n\nExplain neurodiversity using accurate\, respectful and neuroaffirming language.\nRecognise potential barriers within coaching conversations\, training activities and facilitated sessions.\nContract more inclusively for communication\, processing\, participation\, structure and accountability preferences.\nAdapt coaching questions and methods without diagnosing\, stereotyping or taking ownership away from the client.\nDesign and facilitate more accessible learning through greater clarity\, predictability\, processing time and participation choice.\nRespond appropriately to disclosure or uncertainty when someone says they are\, or think they may be\, neurodivergent.\nMaintain clear professional boundaries and recognise when specialist or alternative support may be more appropriate.\n\nThe emphasis throughout is on practical application\, psychologically safe conversations and the ability to support individual thinking without moving too quickly into advice or solutions. \nCourse Structure\nNeurodiversity Essentials\nDevelop an accurate and practical understanding of neurodiversity\, including: \n\nwhat neurodiversity and neurodivergence mean\nneuroaffirming and strengths-aware language\ncommon neurodivergent profiles\noverlapping traits and individual differences\nstrengths\, barriers and support needs\nthe limitations of labels and profile-based assumptions\nwhy behaviour should not be treated as a diagnosis\nwhy the environment can affect how strengths and difficulties appear\n\nParticipants will explore how different approaches to processing and problem-solving can lead to equally valid outcomes. \nLooking Beyond Behaviour\nA person may communicate in many different ways through verbal\, written communication and through body language. \nThe workshop helps participants separate what they can observe from what they may be assuming. \nParticipants will practise replacing interpretation with neutral\, respectful curiosity. \nCreating Psychological Safety\nPsychological safety is created through everyday interactions\, including how we listen\, respond\, pace questions and handle uncertainty. Participants will explore creating psychological safety through a neuroinclusive lense enabling them to recognise when a well-intentioned response may reduce safety. \nNeuroinclusive Contracting\nA strong contract does more than clarify goals and confidentiality. It also creates an opportunity to agree how people will work together. Participants will have the opportunity to review their contracting practice through a neuroinclusive lense. \nNeuroinclusive Learning Design\nParticipants will review the design of their workshops\, programmes and facilitated activities through a neuroinclusive lens. \nParticipants will audit one of their own learning activities and identify what should be retained\, removed or redesigned. \nAdapting Coaching Practice\nNeuroinclusive coaching is not coaching by diagnosis. \nIt means remaining attentive to how the client thinks and communicates\, then offering appropriate choices rather than insisting on a single coaching style. \nParticipants will consider how to adapt common coaching practices ensuring the client retains ownership of their goals\, decisions and actions. \nDisclosure\nThis module helps coaches and facilitators respond confidently and appropriately when someone discloses\, or wonders\, that they may be neurodivergent. It focuses on acknowledging their experience without diagnosing\, exploring helpful adjustments\, maintaining professional boundaries\, and supporting the person to retain choice and ownership over next steps. \nSupporting Self-Advocacy\nGood support should increase clarity and confidence\, not create dependency. In this section you will learn how to help someone move from a broad statement such as “I am struggling” towards a clearer understanding of the conditions\, communication or support that may help. \nProfessional Boundaries and Appropriate Support\nParticipants will develop clear\, compassionate boundary language and explore how to remain helpful without taking over. \nA Practical Workshop\, Not Just Awareness Training\nThis workshop is designed to move participants from understanding into action. \nLearning takes place through a combination facilitator input\, slides\, individual and group activities\, opportunities for personal reflection\, skills practise and personal action planning. \nNobody will be required to disclose a diagnosis or personal experience. \nParticipants can contribute in ways that are comfortable for them. Activities include alternatives to public contribution\, role-play and breakout rooms. \nWhat Is Included?\nParticipants will receive practical resources to support application during and after the workshop \nWhat Will Participants Take Away?\nParticipants will leave with: \n\na clearer understanding of neurodiversity\ngreater confidence in asking about preferences\npractical ways to adapt questions and activities\na method for reviewing learning design\nmore confidence in responding to disclosure\nclearer professional boundaries\nlanguage they can use immediately\nan individual action plan for their own practice\n\nMost importantly\, participants will be better equipped to create coaching and learning experiences in which different ways of thinking\, communicating and participating are anticipated rather than treated as a problem. \nWhat This Course Is Not\nThis course: \n\nis not a diagnostic course\ndoes not teach participants to identify neurodivergence from behaviour\nis not a neurodiversity coaching qualification\ndoes not replace clinical or therapeutic training\ndoes not provide individual medical or legal advice\ndoes not suggest that every neurodivergent person needs the same support\ndoes not require participants to share personal information\n\nIt is professional-development training for established coaches\, trainers and facilitators who want to make their everyday practice more inclusive and accessible. \nCost: £275 +VAT \nWe are in the process of applying for CPDSO accreditation for this course \nFrequently Asked Questions
